DAY 3...............after spending the night in Clewiston on the south shore of Lake Okeechobee, birded the Clewiston / Belle Glade area for a couple of hours before heading south via the Everglades Agricultural Management Area, a vast are of farmland intersected by wide dykes (all containing alligators). Nearly ran out of gas miles from anywhere.........but - mustn't worry !
