another test

a bird in flight (albeit fairly slow moving), taken with the 70-300L plus a kenko pro 1.4 tc. Just fast flying birds to go, and if they are acceptable, it's 10 out of 10.

3 more images from the garden, this time with the 70-300L on the old 30d. I really do think its an astounding piece of kit.

70-300L

It's a bit early to draw any real conclusions based on one quick trip around Scarborough in what can only be described as a 'Grey Day' at best. However, my gut feeling is that the rave reviews are for the most part warranted.

300l still hasn't arrived so back to the 400 till it does.
