Eagles at the cemetery
A temporary warm-up had plenty of birds keen to feed up with Peregrine, Coopers Hawk, 4 Red-tailed Hawks and 2 Bald Eagles all seen in A one hour period. On the river were 60 Bufflehead, 85 Black Duck, 13 Goosander, 9 Goldeneye, 15 Hooded Merganser, a single male Wood Duck and a flock of Scaup - probably Lesser, possibly mixed with Greater and certainly containing one pair of Ring-necked Duck and maybe even a Tufted Duck. Photos and help from renowned Duck expert Mike will hopefully confirm...
