Can't come close to matching your Snowy Owls, so I've posted these to remind you what ordinary birds look like.

70D

Forget my last post regarding the 70d. Further adjustments to settings and use (by PAL), have changed my opinion totally..... lt's a superb instrument, have posted 10 images for your perusal. Any opinions welcome. The Kestrel against a fussy background, and the Woodpecker between branches are of particular interest.

Grousing at Fieldfare frolics.

This was the final test for the new 70d (with 70-300 lens). My conclusion is that it's a very good all round camera but certainly not a replacement for the 7d, despite the latter being 4 years old now. I must admit that sometimes it takes excellent images, but it has it's idiocyncrasies, whereas the 7d is more reliable, and in my opinion, represents better value for money.

testing

Other than the November Moth, the remaining images are testing Andrew's new 70d with the 70-300 lens. Initial impressions are fairly good, but it needs testing more before I say that its as good as the 7d. Will keep you posted.
